  2019年4月に日本初の人工膝手術支援ロボットとして当院整形外科に導入されたNAVIO（S&N社）の後継機CORIが本年11月から臨床使用が開始されます。本格的なロボット手術時代の幕開けとなり、手術時間の短縮とさらなる精度の向上が期待されます。

  赤木將男主任教授が、令和2年度の日本整形外科学会「学術賞（ Academic Achivement Award）」受賞者に決定しました。学会表彰規定に「学術賞は多年にわたる研究により整形外科学の発展に顕著な貢献をしたものに授与する。研究業績は個人の研究成果だけでなはなく、所属施設の研究チームにおいて、顕著な指導性を発揮したことも重要な要素とする」とあり、近畿大学医学部整形外科学教室の研究能力の発展が評価されました。授賞式は5月19日13:20-東京国際フォーラムで行われます。誠におめでとうございます。
