宮田 信吾 准教授らの論文がNeuroscience Lettersにアクセプトされました。
“Suppressive effect of nobiletin, a citrus polymethoxyflavonoid that downregulates thioredoxin-interacting protein expression, on tunicamycin-induced apoptosis in SK-N-SH human neuroblastoma cells.”
小胞体（ER）を起源とする神経細胞死に対して、シークワーサー等に含まれるフラボノイドの一種「ノビレチン」がthioredoxin-interacting protein(TXNIP)の発現を抑制することにより保護的効果を示すことを解明しました。
この成果は、静岡県立大学および東北大学との共同研究によるものです。
